If you don’t have a myfedloan.org account, creating one is simple and easy. Click the “Create an Account” button to start. To have your personal account, you will be asked to provide your full name, email address, birth date, your social security number and confirmation of your social security number. After proving the needed information, read and agree to the Terms and Conditions set by fedloan and click “continue.” The next step is to make your unique account username and password, select your security questions, and verify information and lastly, confirmation. After your account is confirmed, only then you can start to access your newly created account.

Using your myfedloan account, you can access your payment summary, loan details, payments and billings, and view or update your account profile and tax information. If you happen to forget your password or your username, you can retrieve them by clicking “Forgot your Username?” and “Forgot your Password?” For username retrieval, you will have to provide either your account number or social security number and your email address. The same process applies when you need to want to retrieve you password.
